This is cheaper than traditional broadband over your phone wires. You can use it in the house, the park or at a café. It is dependant on signal strength etc. Probably the best way for people currently on dial up with low to average usage to get to broadband speeds. Great if you are moving house a lot. Not really suitable for big downloaders (say over 6GB).

Excess "Usage" is 14c/mb. Excess hours $6.60/hr. Delivery fee of $12.50 applies on free and purchased equipment. There can be a wait time of 2 to 3 weeks for equipment delivery. You have14 days trial period from activation date to assess if signal strength and performance are good enough in your area. You may return all the equipment and packaging, in good order, for full equipment refund in that trial period. You must pay for the postage back to us. Subscription charges still apply for the period you have the equipment up to the date we receive it back. This is an "opt out if not satisfied". It is not a "freebie"! Once your 14 day trial period is over then you are locked in if you are on a contract and only "warranty" returns of equipment applies. On joining;
Pro-rata Usage and Time in the first calendar month: New plan’s
Usage allowance will be prorated up until the 1st of the following month. For example if a customer joins
on the 16th of a 30 day month (16th would be counted as day 1) on the 3GB/mth plan. The GB remaining
for the month would be 1.5GB.
Plan upgrades and downgrades
a) The amount of GB used is not reset (GB is not reset until the 1st of the month)
b) Pro rata refunds are given for the leaving plan.
c) When the End Customer has exceeded their usage allowance defined by their Plan a
charge per MB will be applied.
d) Maximum usage allowance will be limited to 6GB except for the 6GB plan which will
be able to go to 7GB.
e) Remainders of contract periods will be added to the new plans contract period.
Daily hang-up for refresh
Note: Customers will be ‘hanged up’ for several seconds between 11:30pm- Midnight each day. This is
required to update our daily usage records.
Early Termination Fees apply;
If you are on a 24mth contract then an early termination fee of $179 applies should you terminate (or be terminated for non-payment etc) before the full 24mths has passed.
Usage Meters ;
The software that comes with the USB stick tracks usage but does not reset at the begining of the month. The usage meter on the main Rabbit web page doesn't handle wireless accounts yet. We will try and add that later if possible but for now use the meter that comes with the equipment. Keep in mind you need to note your figures at the begining of each month and any manual resets of your software will reset your figures.
